This is the final year the NASCAR pool will be posted on this website. The starting lineup for week 25 is posted. The final standings are posted on the Tuesday following the race.
There is a possibility that a race could have less than 43 qualifiers. In the event this happens, the following changes will be in place for each week that this happens. 1) Any team without a driver will have its weekly fee ($5) refunded. a. If the team still owes dues for following sessions, the refund will be applied toward the unpaid balance. b. If a team does not owes any session dues, the money will be refunded at the end of the session. c. The $5 refund will be deducted from the session money. Weekly winnings and Yearly winnings will not be affected. Weekly place money. 1) Any team without a driver will not be eligible for Weekly Winnings for that week (first, second or third place). Points 1) For points, each team without a driver will “back up” to the first available comparable qualifying position. Please see the following example: Race has 40 qualifiers. Therefore, the following qualifying spots would not have drivers assigned: 41, 42 and 43. Since the “last” qualifying position is now position 40, the team associated with the 43rd qualifying spot would also get the points for position 40 (a minimum of 4 points). The team associated with the 42nd qualifying spot would get the points associated with the 39th spot (a minimum of 5 points) and the 41st position would get the points associated with the 38th spot (a minimum of 6 points). No team would get 1, 2 or 3 points.
